Big ‘I’ Members Encouraged to Join ACT Work Groups

The Big “I” Agents Council for Technology (ACT) recently announced its new strategic focus, which includes an updated work group model. The new work groups, which are comprised of Big “I” member agents and ACT supporting partners, will pivot from specific tactical and transactional issues to strategic and emergent topics.
ACT’s four pillars of data, connectivity, artificial intelligence (AI) and people and culture are the framework for the next generation of work groups. Output from discussions on each of these pillars has been curated into “Letters to the Industry.”
While the new ACT work groups will bring more benefits to all industry stakeholder groups—agencies, technology partners and carriers—ACT’s primary focus is on the needs of independent agents.
Agent input will be critical to the success of these groups. Big “I” member agents can read the participation guide, which ACT developed to help agencies determine if participating in these new work groups is the right fit. This guide outlines the expectations and responsibilities involved, ensuring that everyone can contribute effectively and fairly. Additionally, read a brief outline of each work group for work group scope and goals.
Anyone interested in joining a work group can complete the sign-up form.
