The Big “I” Council for Best Practices aids independent agents and brokers in boosting productivity, increasing sales, and improving operations.
Program sponsors lead efforts to enhance and grow the independent agency system’s value. By supporting the Council, companies access the latest data from top agencies and influence the program’s future direction. In 2025, select Best Practices agencies will be appointed through nominations and data submissions.
As part of the support, Council for Best Practices members can nominate agencies for status every three-years, join in their business support and benefit from educational events and networking opportunities from the best in the industry.
A hallmark of the Best Practices program for over 32 years, the annual comprehensive study evaluates agencies over three years, with the next release in fall 2025 and annual updates in 2026 and 2027. A Council meeting will occur in January 2026 alongside the Big “I” Winter Meeting and Best Practices Symposium in 2026.
